Canada Day is approaching quickly. Time for barbeques, festivals and gatherings of friends and family. This day is the perfect day to Buy Canadian. Everything. Plates & tableware, barbeques and chairs, meat and drinks, party favours and more. They’re all available. All Canadian.
But let’s expand the causes. Why not celebrate Canada Day every six months? Mid January, for instance. Challenge (or embrace) our winters. It’s truly a Canadian thing.
Now, New Years, Easter, Christmas, anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, retirements…they’re all great times to be true, strong Canadians.
Even if you don’t worry about buying Canadian the rest of the year, celebrating these events the Canadian way will support our businesses, our friends’ and neighbours’ jobs and enhance our pride in who we are.
